Surface cleaning treats what you can see and smell right now, but urine soaks down into the pad and often the subfloor beneath it, and that's where the odor keeps coming from. We lift the affected carpet and apply an enzyme treatment directly to the pad and subfloor, one that breaks down uric acid crystals and the bacteria that feed on them rather than masking the smell with fragrance. Expect 24 to 48 hours for it to fully dry.

When it's more than a treatment

Some pads have simply absorbed more than treatment alone can undo, especially after years of repeated accidents in the same spot. In those cases we'll recommend pairing the enzyme treatment with a full pad replacement, and we'll tell you which situation yours is before any work starts, not after.
